What is a Kosher Cookie?

Our goal at Kosher Cookie Company is to provide you with a little added sweetness in all of life’s special moments.

Therefore we always look forward to delighting you with creative cookies that taste delicious!

The question does come up, though, what does Kosher mean, and how does that apply to the Kosher Cookie Company?

OK Kosher Logo, circle with K in it.“Kosher,” simply put, is a term used to describe food that complies with the strict dietary standards of traditional Jewish law.

We are supervised by OK Kosher.  Our cookies are Parve, meaning they do not contain any dairy or meat products.

Our products are also Pas Yisroel, which means that our cookies were baked with the participation of an observant Jew.

In addition to our adherence to the technical rules of kashrut, or keeping kosher, we also believe that living a "kosher" life includes the principle of tzedakah or charity.  Therefore the Kosher Cookie Company donates 10% of its profits to charity.  We choose organizations that focus on feeding those in need; because while many of us are privileged to enjoy treats like cookies all the time, there are plenty of people for whom finding their next meal is a challenge.

This all means that you can sit back and enjoy your sweet moments knowing you’re getting parve cookies that you can enjoy anytime!
